Beginning II -
Italiano Due
Calling all former Italiano Uno students and all those who
want to continue learning Italian! Students will build on
the fundamentals, learn new vocabulary and grammar and
practice speaking and understanding everyday Italian with
classroom conversations and reading. (We cover Prego! Chapters
3 -4).

Beginning III
- Italiano Tre
Graduates of Italiano II and students who possess the basic
grammar and vocabulary skills will enjoy this interactive
class. Students learn new grammar, expand vocabulary and practice

I - Italiano Quattro

II -Italiano Otto
Students in this class will use Italian in the class room

Advanced III Advanced Italian
Corso Superiore
Students in these two ongoing class will broaden their
understanding of more complex linguistic constructions,
grammar, idioms and expressions. Instructors provide interesting
reading and writing assignments which increase vocabulary
and fluency while giving students the practice they need
to become confident in speaking Italian. Students enjoy
broadening their language skills while learning more about
Italy, Italian culture and daily life. da Capo text is used.

Ponte Review Classes
These special 4 week Ponte or Bridge classes offer students
the perfect opportunity to continue learning during the
quarter (November and December) break. Each class is designed
to expand vocabulary and comprehension and to help students
gain confidence in Italian conversation. The classes help
continuing students master the material before continuing
to the next level. .

Summer Conversation Classes
Students who have taken Italian and studied vocabulary and
grammar need to speak Italian in teacher led group conversations.

Our Ciao Italia and Ciao Piccoli programs
offer a fun filled program which gives children the opportunity
to explore Italian language and heritage through arts, crafts,
singing, food, dancing, children's literature and films,

Summer Camps - ages (2-5) and (6-12)
Are you ready for summer?
The Italian Cultural Society for planned
6 weeks of fun under the Italian sun! Children will love
our fun filled summer camps with themes like Picnic at the
Park, Animals at the Zoo, Italian Art and Artists, Games
and Sport, Passport to Italy and Italian Food and Cooking.
Children's classes are offered year round
with small teacher to student ratio thanks, in part, to
a contribution from the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs
(MAE) and the Italian Consulate in San Francisco.
